St Marks' Church was originally built in 1892 ad it is a Gothic granite building which was considred to be one of the most outstandng features of its time. Today it still forms part of the trilogy of buildings known as "Education Salvation and Damnation" and is still a place of worship to more than 500 people in the Church of Scotland.
